Almost all people have been negatively impacted by the economic recession of the last several years. As a result of this down-turn, many people are looking for ways to supplement their income. Some choose to moonlight at part time jobs; others, who may not have that option, may be interested in multilevel marketing. Multilevel marketing is a marketing strategy where a salesperson depends partially on profit gained from sale of goods and or services, and partially on profit gained from other salespeople he or she has recruited to be a part of his or her down-line. A salesperson that creates a large down-line is able to rely more on that income rather than the income derived from his or her own sales. There are many things to consider when choosing which multilevel marketing opportunity in which to invest time and effort. Ideally, one would choose a product or service that they believe in. Most people would want to feel good about the product or service they are selling, because no one wants to feel like s/he is ripping people off. Second, people want to find a multilevel marketing campaign that has a proven track record, and that will actually help them earn money. Fortunately, there is a blog that has been created to help people determine whether or not they will find financial success with a multilevel marketing campaign. This blog is called multilevelblogger.com and is written by a man nick-named “Dollar Bill.” He has a lot of experience and knowledge about multilevel marketing campaigns. Perhaps the most interesting part of this blog is the multilevel campaign tests. These are real, put your money where your mouth is, tests of whether or not there is money to be made. Dollar Bill is obviously not being paid by the companies that run these campaigns, because he has no problem telling his audience when a campaign is simply not worth the effort. In fact, all campaigns that are highlighted on the multilevel campaign tests show that they resulted in a loss of money. Experienced sales professionals might not be interested in hearing about the amount of money other people make; many are interested in potential instead. Along with listing the amount of money made or lost, this blog also lists the number of prospects who responded to marketing. Of course, a listing of profit and loss and prospects is meaningless without context. Multilevelblogger.com provides this context by letting readers know the marketing and promotion methodologies they used when testing each campaign, including purchasing ad-space on web sites, cold calling, pay per click advertising, list renting, and magnetic sponsoring (an idea that people will be drawn to your campaign based on your personality, not the product or income potential). Dollar Bill has pretty strong opinions about that. Most information on the internet about multilevel marketing campaigns comes from the companies that are only interested in recruiting. Obviously, these websites are going to be biased and will only present information to convince potential distributors that their company's campaign is the best. It's comforting to know that a blog exists that provides an honest assessment of these campaigns. Multilevel, Multilevel Tips
